Canada seeks tidal team
Officials in Nova Scotia to hire team to probe marine renewables infrastructure
Nova Scotia’s Offshore Energy Research Association (OERA) has taken the wraps off plans to investigate how the infrastructure available to tidal developers can support the industry’s work towards commercialisation.
OERA has been tasked by the Nova Scotia Department of Energy (NSDoE) to carry out a request for proposals tender in a bid to secure a project team to undertake the study.
The work will be expected to follow on from a 2011 NSDoE study on the topic to enhance tidal developers’ existing local infrastructure, service and supply chain knowledge.
Proposals must be lodged on or before 18 April.
