Wales, Canada form marine team
Collaboration aims to advance wave and tidal energy globally
Marine Energy Wales and Marine Renewables Canada have signed an agreement to share knowledge and support development of wave and tidal energy.
The collaborative approach will aim to build on the work that has already been accomplished by each, the two organisations said.
Marine Energy Wales director David Jones said: “Collaborating with Marine Renewables Canada and sharing experiences will be a real benefit moving forward.”
Marine Renewables Canada executive director Elisa Obermann said: “By working together, Marine Renewables Canada and Marine Energy Wales can help industry collaborate on key issues, build partnerships, and share information that will support advancement of the global industry.”
