Dutch to deliver EA1 jacket store
BOW Terminal to provide foundation marshalling for 714MW project
ScottishPower Renewables has contracted BOW Terminal Flushing to provide foundation marshalling services at the Dutch port of Vlissingen for the 714MW East Anglia 1 offshore wind farm.
The deal, first revealed in the latest issue of the subscriber-only newsletter reNEWS, includes 102 jackets and 306 pin piles, which are being supplied by Lamprell in the UAE, Harland & Wolff in Northern Ireland and Navantia in Spain.
The storage area at the port is expected to cover 12 hectares, with the work set to start in the second half of this year.
East Anglia 1 will consist of 102 Siemens 7MW turbines.
