Swedes seek inspections services for various aspects of wind turbines

Vattenfall issues quality call image

Vattenfall is seeking quality assurance services for various aspects of wind turbine manufacture across Europe.

The company is seeking companies to provide quality assurance inspections for foundations, and towers, blades, nacelle and hub components and for pre-assembly, installation and completion.

It is also seeking quality surveillance services for subsea cable manufacture.

All the work is for up to three organisations and for four years across markets in Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands and the UK.

The blade work covers quality assurance services during manufacture and is valued and between €1m and €1.2m.

The foundation and towers work is valued at €1.9m to €2.1m, while the call for nacelle and hub components is valued at between €1.4m and €1.7m.

Pre-assembly, installation and completion is valued at between €10m and €11m, while the subsea work is between €1m and €1.2m.

Interested parties have until 24 February to respond.
