GE names new onshore chief
Pete McCabe replaces Anne McEntee who moves to renewable services
GE Renewable Energy has named Pete McCabe president and chief executive of its onshore wind business, replacing Anne McEntee who is now vice president renewable energy services.
McCabe (pictured) has been with GE for 22 years, most recently as vice president of the global services organization.
McEntee moves to the recently created renewables services business in a new position that will see her work closely with each GE Renewable Energy service organization, as well as the digital team.
“The ultimate goal being to expand service agreements and explore new OEM services, while creating new value for customers and more productivity for the business,” GE said.
GE Renewable Energy president and CEO Jérôme Pécresse said, “The creation of a services offering is critical for our business to be even smarter, more efficient and faster.
“I am confident that under Anne’s leadership our dedicated service business will continue to grow and I know that Pete, with his strategic problem- solving and willingness to embrace disruptive technology, is well suited to keep our onshore wind business on this positive track.”
