RTS Wind has been subcontracted by Siemens to erect turbines and install cabling at a project in Germany.

The work involves the installation of eight 3MW direct drive turbines, as well as the internal cabling at the project in the Varel/Jadebusen region, the company said.

RTS Wind has installed four of the eight turbines.

RTS head of project management Torsten Hartmann said: “It is a pilot project for what is hoped to be a long-term cooperation, and it is one which we are very much looking forward to.”
