Vattenfall seeks power study squad
Work to look at interaction of onshore, offshore turbines with the grid
Vattenfall has issued a tender for power system studies of onshore and offshore wind projects to evaluate grid stability and the interaction between turbines and electrical infrastructure.
The contract would run for four years and be worth between €2.8m and €3.1m for up to five participants.
The studies may cover loss calculations, PQ capability, voltage and frequency range, harmonics and short circuit capabilities, according to the tender documents.
Interested parties have until 29 March to respond to the tender.
