Statoil, Eni forge RE pact
Integration of renewables at oil and gas fields under consideration

Statoil has signed an agreement with Italian oil and gas outfit Eni to develop renewable energy projects.
The two companies said they have joined forces to build energy infrastructure for a “low carbon future”.
Statoil said the pair will begin evaluating greenfield sites and the “integration” of renewable energy solutions at “existing” oil and gas fields.
Research and development will also be undertaken by the new joint venture.
