Global Energy Services (GES) has completed the construction of a 200MW wind farm in Mexico for EDP Renewables.

GES was in charge of balance of plant for the project, including civil works, medium voltage grid, step-up substation, high voltage grid and interconnection substation.

The company also installed the wind farm’s 95 turbines and foundations.

The civil works included 60km of roads and three bridges to access the wind farm, while the electrical works included a 100km cable for the medium voltage grid and a 20km high voltage line, GES said.
