The Greencoat Solar 1 fund has acquired seven photovoltaic projects totalling 73.5MW in the UK from a group of private investors.
The projects include the 50MW Scottow Moor solar park in Norfolk, said Greencoat Capital, which manages the fund.
The fund was launched in October last year and has 16 solar projects with a combined capacity of 180MW in its portfolio.
Greencoat Capital partner Lee Moscovitch said: “We are excited about the continued momentum in our UK solar business and pleased to add these high quality assets to our portfolio.”
Eversheds Sutherlands was legal advisor to Greencoat Solar 1, while Osborne Clarke was legal advisor and PricewaterhouseCoopers corporate finance advisor to the sellers.
