Vestas scores China hat-trick
Three deals secured for turbines from Danish company's 2MW platform
Vestas has secured three contracts to supply turbines to wind farms in China.
One deal is to deliver 22 V110 2MW machines power optimised to 2.2MW for an unnamed customer for a 48MW project in Shandon province.
The turbines will have hub heights of 137 metres and the order also includes a two-year Active Output Management 4000 service contract.
Delivery and commissioning are expected to start in the third quarter of 2017.
An order for turbines from the Danish company’s 2MW platform totalling 55MW has also been won, together with a third deal for machines from the 2MW platform.
Delivery and commissioning for both wind farms will start in the third quarter of 2017.
The customers, projects and specific turbine names have not been disclosed at both clients’ request, Vestas said.
