Sear has been contracted to supply electrical engineering work for the foundation stage of Energie Baden-Württemberg's 497MW Hohe See wind farm in the German North Sea.

The German services firm was selected by Belgian steel producer Smulders to provide electrical components for 71 transition pieces, which will be fabricated in Rostock and assembled in Antwerp.

Work on the €10 million contract is expected to be completed by April, 2018, Sear said.
