Enel rumbles at Thunder Ranch
Construction starts at 298MW wind farm in Oklahoma
Enel Green Power North America has started construction of the 298MW Thunder Ranch wind farm in Oklahoma.
The $435m project, which is located in Garfield, Kay and Noble counties, will be financed through the Enel Group’s own resources.
It is expected to be online by the end of the year.
The wind farm will be supported by long-term agreements for the sale of power and renewable energy credits, Enel said.
The company started work in April on the 300MW Red Dirt wind project in the same US state.
