Supermarket chain Tesco plans for its global stores and distribution centres to be 100% supplied by renewable energy by 2030.

The company has set an interim target 65% of its electricity from clean sources by 2020.

In the UK and Ireland, Tesco said it will switch to 100% renewable energy this year supported by renewables certificates.

In Thailand, the company has invested £8m in onsite solar generation already and plans to increase this investment in the coming years.
