Vestas rises in Japan
First of three V90 turbines installed at 9MW wind farm
Danish manufacturer Vestas has installed the first of three turbines at a 9MW wind farm in Sakata Ohama and Miyuami in Japan.
The project will consist of three V90 3MW machines and is expected to be completed ahead of schedule.
Vestas said the wind farm is its first in Japan since 2008, when it installed V80 hardware for a project.
The company added that it is looking to expand its market presence in the Asian country.
