Korean wind set to grow
WWEA and KWEIA team up for research into boosting green energy
The World Wind Energy Association (WWEA) and the Korean Wind Energy Association (KWEIA) have signed an agreement, which includes joint research into boosting offshore and onshore production in South Korea.
The partners said leading markets will be analysed to identify suitable policies for the promotion of wind power and for the accelerated deployment of projects.
The conclusions will serve as guidance for the Korean government.
WWEA secretary general Stefan Gsänger said: “We are delighted that we can assist our Korean colleagues and the Korean government in building up a strong domestic wind sector."
