Skandi Constructor to support commissioning at 336MW UK project
DOF Subsea vessel Skandi Constructor has landed work supporting the installation of Innogy's 336MW Galloper wind farm off Suffolk.
Siemens has given the 120-metre long DP3 vessel a contract to help support commissioning work at the project's 56 Siemens 6MW turbines.
The Skandi Constructor will remain on site until the end of the year, the company said.
“I am very pleased with the contract award and our ability to secure utilization for the vessel in a challenging market,” said DOF Subsea chief executive Mons S. Aase.
