Danes on guard for EnBW
KEM Offshore to provide vessel during construction of Hohe See and Albatros projects
Danish ship owner KEM Offshore is to provide a guard vessel for EnBW’s 497MW Hohe See and 112MW Albatros offshore wind farms in the German North Sea.
KEM Offshore business development manager Brian Schlosser said: “Our guard vessels already have proven track records in the North Sea market, but this is our first long-term contract and we are of course excited and very proud to have been selected by EnBW to perform this work.”
Albatros will consist of 16 Siemens SWT-7.0-154 turbines, while Hohe See will comprise 87 of the same machines.
Construction work is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2018 and could run until April 2020, KEM Offshore said.
