Eno reveals 4.8MW hardware
New turbine available on steel towers with up to 162-metre hub heights
German manufacturer Eno Energy is presenting a new 4.8MW wind turbine at the Husum Wind trade fair.
The new machine, which is an upgrade of its 4.0MW Eno 114 and Eno 126 models, is designed for low and medium wind speed sites.
It is currently in the certification process and will be market ready in about one year, a company spokesperson told reNEWS.
Eno Energy said that the hardware will be available on tubular steel towers with hub heights between 92 metres and 162 metres.
The company added that it has projects with a combined capacity of 150MW in the pipeline.
It has secured an order backlog for 2018 and started plans for 2019 following succes in the two onshore tenders in Germany this year.
