BOEM spotlight on NY offshore
Public meeting on 3 October will provide update on state’s latest activities
The US Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) is inviting stakeholders to a meeting of the New York Intergovernmental Renewable Energy Task Force on 3 October.
BOEM said the meeting aims to continue stakeholder engagement on the development of offshore wind on the outer continental shelf of New York.
It will provide an update on recent leasing activities and New York’s offshore wind master plan and studies.
BOEM will also launch a request for feedback and discussion on the path forward for future leasing, as well as provide opportunities for public inputs on New York's offshore wind activities.
The meeting will run from 9am to 4.30pm at the Hotel Indigo – East End in Riverhead, New York.
