German double for Windtechnik
10-year maintenance deal with European Energy for two wind farms

Deutsche Windtechnik is to provide maintenance services for Danish developer European Energy’s 22MW Briesensee and 4MW Gaurettersheim wind farms in Germany.
The agreement, which starts in 2019, will run for 10 years and builds on a number of existing arrangements between the two companies.

It covers all maintenance including repairs and replacement of large components and blades.
Briesensee located in Brandenburg comprises 11 Vestas V90 2MW turbines, while Gaurettersheim in Bavaria features two of the same machines.
European Energy technical manager for wind turbines Jan Hendrik Wunsch said: “Based on our previous experience with Deutsche Windtechnik, we are very interested in further expanding our good cooperation.”
