EDF Energy Renewables has installed the first of five MHI Vestas 8.3 MW turbines at its 41.5MW Blyth demo project off the coast of Northumberland in the UK.
Jan De Nul jack-up Vole au Vent lifted the first machine into place on Monday.
EDF installed the project's five gravity base foundations in late August, while VBMS wrapped up cable installation at the project earlier this month.
Vole au Vent is expected to finish turbine installation at the project by the end of September
