Date set for Dutch zero-bid tender
Hollandse Kust Zuid 1&2 auction will open on 15 December
The bidding window for the 700MW Hollandse Kust Zuid 1&2 offshore wind farm tender in the Netherlands will open on 15 December.
Applications for the zero-bid auction will close on 21 December.
The Dutch ministry of economic affairs published a ministerial order firing the starting gun on the tender process.
Each zero-bid project will be allocated points according to how they meet criteria such as capacity, project experience and design quality with the highest score winning the tender.
Further details of the tender and information on how the applications will be ranked will be presented in an information meeting on 1 November in Utrecht, the ministry added.
