Foresea funds six pack
Scotrenewables, Ideol and Blackfish among latest winners
The EU-backed Foresea programme has selected six technology projects for support in its third call for support.
Blackfish, Bombora and Scotrenewables will be able test technologies at the EMEC centre in Orkney.
The SEM-REV centre in France will host Ideol and Interdrones, while Kornwerderzand will test technology at the DMEC facility in the Netherlands.
Final confirmation of support will be granted to developers upon contract with the relevant test centre.
Ocean Energy Europe chief executive Rémi Gruet said: “With continued public support for RD&I, Europe can capitalise on this technological advantage and create a new manufacturing sector based on indigenous, renewable energy.”
