The Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) has postponed an adjudicatory hearing on LEEDCo and Fred Olsen Renewables’ 20.7MW Icebreaker offshore wind farm in Lake Erie in order to gain more information on the project.
In particular, OPSB staff want more facts on the pre- and post-construction radar technology monitoring protocol selected to determine project impacts.
The meeting, which was set for 17 November, will be rescheduled at a later date, OPSB said.
The purpose of the hearing is to “allow parties to the case to provide sworn testimony and cross-examine witnesses”, it added.
The postponement will not affect a public hearing on 8 November, which is being held to gauge support for the wind farm.
