Borssele 1&2 seeks cable guys
Orsted looking for installer at 752MW project in Dutch North Sea
Danish developer Orsted is seeking companies to carry out cable installation at the 752MW Borssele 1&2 offshore wind complex in the Dutch North Sea.
The company, formerly known as Dong Energy, is also looking for similar services for the 700MW Hollandse Kust Zuid 1&2 project in the Netherlands, should it be successful in the tender for the site that opens next month.
Companies interested in cable installation and “rock dumping” on both projects have 15 calendar days to register from the publication date of the tender notice, which was 11 November.
If companies are not registered in the period, they will not be allowed to participate in the tender procedure.
The Hollandse Kust Zuid 1&2 contract will be cancelled if Orsted does not win the right to develop the site, which will be finalised in the first quarter of next year.
