Orsted will start on 23 November the next round of public consultation for the 2.4GW Hornsea 3 offshore wind farm, which will be located off the Norfolk coast in the UK.

The developer, previously known as Dong Energy, said it is seeking comment on changes to the onshore and offshore cable routes made in response to previous consultations.

Orsted plans to refine to 80 metres the 200-metre cable corridor and has identified new routes that fall outside the previous boundary.

It has also proposed two changes to the offshore cable routes that are outside the areas included in earlier consultations.

The company is also seeking comment on proposed access routes and plans to potentially divert a footpath.

The consultation, the fourth for the project, will run until 22 December.
