Norway calls for wind input
NORWEA surveys members to feed into plan for sector’s national framework
The Norwegian Wind Energy Association (NORWEA) is seeking industry input on wind power development in Norway to feed into government’s plans to establish a national framework for the sector.
NORWEA has been asked by the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) to distribute a survey to its members.
The NVE is tasked with designing the national framework for wind power and inputs from the survey will provide it with “important background information”, NORWEA said.
The association added that the framework is important as it will “affect the location of wind power and licensing processes in the coming years”.
