Triple play for Senvion in Europe
Turbines totalling 130MW installed in Norway, Serbia and Ireland
Senvion has completed the installation of turbines totalling 130MW at three wind farms in Norway, Serbia and Ireland.
The German manufacturer has installed 33 3.4M114 machines at Norsk Vind Egersund’s 112MW Egersund wind farm in Rogaland, Norway.
Senvion has also completed work on four MM100 turbines at the 8MW Malibunar project in Serbia, some 56km northeast of Belgrade.
Five MM82 units were installed at the 10MW Teevurcher wind farm in Meath in Ireland.
Senvion chief executive Jürgen Geissinger said: “The completion of installation and start of operation of these wind farms in three of our newly entered markets countries across Europe highlights that we are effectively delivering our expansion strategy.”
