Vestas nails Norwegian prize
BKW Energie orders 15 V136-3.6MW machines for 54MW Marker project
Vestas has secured an order for turbines totalling 54MW from BKW Energie for a wind farm at Marker in south-east Norway.
The contract covers the supply, installation and commissioning of 15 V136-3.6MW machines.
Delivery is expected to start in the third quarter of 2018.
Swiss energy and infrastructure company BKW Energie also owns a stake in the 1GW Fosen Vind project.
Vestas Northern Europe president Klaus Steen Mortensen said: “BKW Energie is already very active in Norway with a large stake in the 1GW Fosen Vind project, Europe's largest onshore wind park when in operation.
“We are therefore very pleased to continue the partnership and deliver our turbines and services to the Marker wind power plant.”
