Engie orders 51 DD-142 turbines for 208MW Tonstad wind farm
Siemens Gamesa is to supply turbines totalling 208MW to Engie's Tonstad wind farm in Norway.
The order covers the supply of 51 DD-142 machines, as well as a long-term service agreement.
Installation will start next year, Siemens Gamesa said.
The wind farm is located in the municipalities of Sirdal and Flekkefjord in southern Norway.
Electricity from the project will be sold to Hydro Energi, a subsidiary of Norwegian aluminium producer Hydro, under a 25-year power purchase agreement.
