Vattenfall is offering solar power to its Swedish customers to cover their entire electricity consumption.
It has started cooperating with two Swedish solar producers – buying all the electricity produced by a facility in Norrkoping and one in Simrishamn.
Vattenfall said it is also looking for more solar producers in Sweden.
The company also buys solar power from Italy and Belgium and recently opened its first solar park in Wales.
Vattenfall head of sales Jonas Stenback said: "Vattenfall's overall strategy is to switch to more renewables and solar energy plays and important role."
The company already offers wind and hydro power to its private customers.
