Trina ships 25MW to Thailand
Deal to kit out Phase3 of the 75MW Bangchak Solar Energy Project
Chinese manufacturer Trina Solar is to supply 25MW of PV modules to Phase3 of the 75MW Bangchak Solar Energy Project in Thailand.
Shipments to the scheme, which is owned by Bangchak Solar Energy and will be constructed by Gunkul Engineering Public Company, are expected to start this month.
"We are very pleased to collaborate with BSE, a leading solar power plant operator in Thailand," said Trina Solar chairman Jifan Gao.
"This is a significant module supply contract for Trina Solar in Thailand, a leading emerging solar market in South East Asia."
Bangchak Solar Energy said it opted for Trina hardware because of the company’s “excellent international track record”.
