Oceanteam swallows up KCI
Full ownership of engineering outfit as remaining 30% of shares bought
Norwegian offshore services specialist Oceanteam is taking full ownership of engineering company KCI by exercising an option to buy the remaining 30% of shares in the outfit.
KCI services sectors including offshore renewables and employs more than 150 people at offices in Schiedam, the Netherlands, and Hamburg, Germany.
The shares were bought from the previous management team under confidential terms.
Oceanteam said the purchase would allow it to “speed up the already initiated investment program and support the company with its growth plans going forward”.
