Larkfleet signs renewables brain
Expert to drive company's uptake of 'new energy technologies'
Development and construction outfit Larkfleet Group has appointed Matthew Hicks to the newly-created post of renewables investment director.
The renewable energy expert, who joins after a 15-year career with AECOM Energy (formerly Davis Langdon), will be responsible for expanding the company’s “involvement with a variety of new energy technologies”.
Hicks said: "Larkfleet has an established reputation for investing in and developing new renewable generation and energy-reduction technologies. My appointment will help the group to give this aspect of its business a sharper focus.
"I am looking forward to bringing some new ideas through from ‘drawing board' to commercial implementation."
Larkfleet Group chief executive Karl Hick added: "Matthew brings extensive experience in this sector which will enable us to accelerate our business development."
