Prysmian seeks fresh talent
Cabling outfit launches international graduate recruitment drive
Italy-based cabling manufacturer Prysmian Group is launching the fourth round of its Build the Future international graduate employment scheme.
The aim is to take on 40 people fresh from engineering and economics courses and nurture the business's next generation of managers and professionals.
The new recruits will be placed mainly in the research and development, manufacturing and sales divisions.
Candidate identification, which started in the past few days and will last until the end of December. The successful candidates will join Prysmian during the first quarter of 2015.
They will be offered a “permanent employment contract, competitive salary and an initial period of induction and training at the Milan headquarters followed by a 12-month job rotation in their country of origin”, the company said.
Under the first three first three rounds some 100 graduates from 30 countries including Australia, Brazil, China, Columbia, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, India, Italy, Lebanon, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, Turkey, the UK and the USA.
"Prysmian Group continues to look to the future with this scheme and is confirming in practice that personnel development is at the heart of its business development strategies," said human resources and organisational director Fabrizio Rutschmann.
