SeaRoc and HSEQ join forces
Formal collaboration agreed between UK and German companies
SeaRoc Group and HSEQ Experts have agreed to provide combined services to help support the construction and operation of offshore wind farms in Germany and the rest of Europe.
The agreement formalises a working arrangment that have had since March 2014.
The initial focus of the collaboration will be to provide construction support services, such areas as marine construction management, marine coordination and quality control.
The venture is led by SeaRoc principal engineering advisor Nick Murphy and HSEQ Experts chief executive officer Bodo Lehwald.
HSEQ Experts will also support SeaRoc in the delivery of other contracting packages, such as the supply of temporary power generation for offshore projects in Germany.
This support will ensure that SeaRoc’s systems are compliant with German legislation.
SeaRoc operations director David Wotherspoon said: “We were looking for a partner with complementary skill sets and ambitions to work within the German market and abroad.
“We are delighted to have formed this partnership with the team at HSEQ Experts.”
Lehwald said: “We see great potential in the combined services of HSEQ Experts and SeaRoc and are happy to be able to offer this service to our existing and future clients in the German and European offshore wind sector.”
