RET grabs 24.5MW Georgia solar
Projects have 20-year PPAs; collaboration agreement with vendor Origis
RET Capital has bought 24.5MW of operating solar farms in Georgia from Origis USA.
The Camilla, Camp and Upson PV projects have 20-year power purchase agreements with Georgia Powe and Origis will continue to provide O&M and asset management services under the deal.
In addition to the acquisition, the two have signed a framework agreement on collaboration. RET will provide Origis with a long-term source of capital for its assets, while Origis will offer development, EPC, O&M and asset management services to RET.
“RET Capital is pleased to acquire these high-quality assets, our first in the south-east, and looks forward to growing its business with this exciting new asset partner,” said RET Capital chief executive John Bohn.
