Make smoothes Senvion buy-up
Consultancy advising Centerbridge on €1bn purchase from Suzlon
Make Consulting is advising Centerbridge on its €1bn purchase of wind turbine manufacturer Senvion from Indian giant Suzlon.
Make has acted as commercial due diligence advisor for the acquisition of the German wind turbine manufacturer. The transaction, which is subject to anti-trust clearance, is planned to close before the end of the current financial year.
“We are very pleased to have assisted Centerbridge with the acquisition of Senvion,” said Make chief executive Morten Keller.
“We have seen an increase in M&A activity in the wind industry and have advised on a number of deals in 2014 of which the Senvion transaction was the largest.”
The deal for Senvion was announced last Thursday following weeks of speculation.
