Wind bid hits buffers in Lincolnshire
Life Long Energy refused consent for two 60kW Tozzi Nord turbines
Developer Life Long Energy has been refused planning consent for two wind turbines in Lincolnshire.
The 60kW Tozzi Nord TN60-24 machines were proposed on vacant brownfield land at Binbrook Technical Park, 10km north of Market Rasen. Tip heights were set at 34 metres.
West Lindsey District Council noted opposition by parish councils, Natural England and East Lindsey District Council over concerns that the project could result in visual impact and affect bird life, and that the site was too close to houses.
National Air Traffic Services said the development would impact on the Claxby Radar and London Area Control centre.
